Speedy is among the largest companies in the Bulgarian market of courier services with а market share of over 35.7%.

Thanks to a logistics network with more than 1050 shops and lockers, covering  100% of the country's territory, Speedy serves more than 1 Mill. clients and more than 50 Mill. shipments annually.

 

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE COMPANY

The company was founded in 1998 and has grown since to a corporate structure with more than 4000 employees and partners and more than 1700 delivery vehicles.

As a part of Geopost – world leading parcel delivery networks, Speedy transports shipments not only within Bulgarian borders, but also around the world. The international market accounts for 14% of the company’s revenue.

In November 2012, Speedy was listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and became the first company with public status in the industry.

In April 2021, the French company Geopost became the majority owner of Speedy.

Over the years, Speedy's courier and logistics services have become synonymous with high quality service, reliability and speed of delivery and competitive prices.

 

CERTIFICATES

Speedy is the first Bulgarian courier company to implement a certified Quality Management System, and to this day it successfully passes annual audits conducted by SGS under ISO 9001:2015.

In 2023, Speedy implemented an Information Security Management System under the ISO/IEC 2701:2022 standard and successfully passed a certification audit conducted by SGS.

The company's activity is ensured by one of the most developed IT infrastructure in the courier business in Bulgaria.

Speedy is the first company in Bulgaria to start offering a delivery service to vending machines, to provide information to its customers about the time window for delivery of packages to an address, as well as the first company to enable the management of packages while they are still traveling, in order to provide maximum convenience and time planning to its users.
