July brought us a series of tests caused by the terrible summer storms. Some areas of Bulgaria hit hard by the heavy rains.
In Speedy we are committed to people, who became victims of the floods that swept Varna, Dobrich and Veliko Tarnovo and we express our support and commitment to them and their families. Therefore how could not respond to calls for assistance that we received for weeks. In the emails of our employees were coming messages in which people from all over the country wanted to send aid and demanded in our face free transport for donations to the cities in need.
Of course, Speedy responded to their requests and in the very first day after the disaster in Varna and Dobrich we transported to the areas in concern at our expense allowances from Sofia, Plovdiv, Karlovo and Simitli. In addition, many of our employees raised funds for the needy people, and many of them participated also in the national donation campaigns. Just such moments make the the population of a country turn into people. Bulgarians proved they were ready to help in difficult times and we in Speedy are happy that we were able to take part in these noble actions. Hopefully all of us believe that such tragedies can only make us stronger and united.
