On the occasion of the Day of Cyrillic alphabet and Bulgarian culture 24th May, Speedy JSC CEO Valery Mektouptchiyan and Paul-Marie Chavannes, President of our partners GeoPost SA (DPD Group), donated Bulgarian and French literature in Bulgarian schools in France and schools profiled studying French in Bulgaria. The donation, which is part of the traditional company initiative "Speedy delivers knowledge", was held under the patronage of HE Mr. Xavier de Laper Cabannes, Ambassador of France in Bulgaria and was adopted by the Deputy Minister of Culture Mr. Boil Banov and Mrs. Milka Kodzhabasheva, Director of Training and Career Development at the Ministry of Education.
"We are grateful to Speedy and GeoPost for the invitation to participate in this campaign, which contributes to the development of cultural and economic cooperation between Bulgaria and France", said HE Mr. Xavier de Laper Cabannes.
"I am impressed by the business model of Speedy and their traditional attitude to Bulgarian culture over the years", said Mr. Banov. "This donation and attitude towards education and culture is purely practical and useful for children and it would be a good role model", added Ms. Kodzhabasheva.
"With our partners Speedy we are carrying the most valuable item knowledge, which contained in books and it will reach Bulgarian children here and in France", said Paul-Marie Schavan.
