A shipment sent with a parcel service chosen by the customer is heavy or bulky if one or more packages in it have tariff weight over 50 kg. The tariff weight is the greater between volume and physical weight of the package, the volume weight being determined in ratio of 1 m³ = 200 kg.
The surcharge is added to the tariff price for the relevant parcel service to the courier service payer marked in the waybill and amounts to BGN 24, incl. VAT for each parcel in the shipment that has tariff weight of over 50 kg declared or control measured.
