On 21.12.2013 Speedy signed a contract for the execution of project BG161PO003-1.1.07 "Introduction of Innovation in Enterprises" part of OP “Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy” 2007-2013.
The project is concerning the "Introducing an innovative process for organizing and managing logistics services, as well as, delivery of technological infrastructure and a portal allowing employees partners and clients of Speedy to its platform".
The maximum period for execution of the project is 18 months, until the middle of 2015. Also, buying and introducing modern equipment and integration of an innovative process for organizing and managing logistical services is planned.
The cost of investment is estimated to be 4 084 000 BGN and as a reduction of this cost Speedy would get 2 042 000 BGN.
As a result, Speedy, being a leader on the Bulgarian market of courier services, would be able to meet the expectations of its clients of using innovative technology in its operations, as well as, expand its market share.
