Company History
Speedy is among the largest companies in the Bulgarian market of courier services with а market share of over 33%. The company was founded in 1998 and has grown since to a corporate structure with more than 3000 employees and partners and more than 1700 delivery vehicles.
Thanks to a logistics network with nearly 600 offices and automatic postal stations, covering 100% of the country's territory, Speedy serves more than 1 000 000 clients and more than 37 500 000 shipments annually. The company's activity is ensured by one of the most developed IT infrastructure in the courier business in Bulgaria.
As a part of Geopost – world leading parcel delivery networks, Speedy transports shipments not only within Bulgarian borders, but also around the world. The international market accounts for 17% of the company’s revenue.
In November 2012, Speedy was listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and became the first company with public status in the industry.
In April 2021, the French company Geopost became the majority owner of Speedy.
Over the years, Speedy's courier and logistics services have become synonymous with high quality service, reliability and speed of delivery and competitive prices.
Speedy is the first Bulgarian courier company to implement a certified quality management system and successfully passing the annual ISO 9001:2015 recertification audit to this day.
